Brands of the World
Part of my job involves creating online ads for our customer. Because we are a newspaper, often times I’m given nothing but a black and white ad to build my stunning, interactive color ad from. Or I get to scan a flyer. Or a business card. Pretty grody.
Salespeople are awesome. I don’t know how they do what they do. But one thing they don’t do is marketing and branding. They have no idea of the time that goes into choosing the colors and fonts in a logo and that some chick in NJ shouldn’t be trying to properly colorize a black and white business card.
Small business owners are awesome. I don’t know how they do what they do. But they rarely have a good quality eps of their parent company’s logo or the logos of the brands they sell hanging around.
Brands of the World has saved my bacon many times.
